Yuma Proving Ground- The Army’s Premier Natural Environments Test Center

“I Killed” raffle book winners are…..Chad Nelson and Karen Zahn!  CONGRATS!!!

This week I am traveling from one desert to another.   I am headed to one of the largest military installations in the WORLD….Yuma Proving Ground!    YPG conducts tests on nearly every weapon in the ground combat arsenal.  Nearly all the long-range artillery testing for U.S. ground forces takes place here in an area almost completely removed from urban encroachment and noise concerns.  I would like to thank CathyAnn Robinson and the entire Family Advocacy Program team , Command and colleagues for bringing the program to your service men and women.   I will be at the YPG theater on Thursday 26 September at 1530.

Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune- the Home of Expeditionary Forces in Readiness

Congrats to “I Killed” raffle book winners: Alberto Portillo, Andrew Hall and Joshua Sauble!!

This week I head to North Carolina.  I’m excited to spend the day with the fine men and women at Marine Corp Base Camp Lejeune! Their mission is to support the various Marine Corps commands, a major Navy command and a Coast Guard command as well as the Marine Corps Base itself. Camp Lejeune with its various satellite camps, housing, training areas and New River Air Station is the largest concentration of Marines and Sailors in the world. With its massive amount of land and resources, Camp Lejeune is truly the “Home of Expeditionary Forces in Readiness.”

Thank you to Melody Dolmer and colleagues for all of your efforts in bringing me.  I will be at the base theater on Thursday 19 Sept at 0900 and 1300.  See you there!!

A wonderful day at Robins AFB!!

Congrats to “I Killed” raffle book winners: Jordan Sharp, Janas Kukla and Mark Summers!!

I had an amazing time today at the Robins Air Force Base theater for both shows at 0900 and 1500 hours. Thank you to the SAPR staff and Violence Prevention team for further co-sponsorship of the awesome presentations today. To the Airmen and   civilians that supported the training as well as those on the Guard side: I cannot thank you enough for your positive response to laughter and heartfelt comments to me personally after the show. To the YAWNERS: I wish you 100 consecutive sleepless evenings!  Angele ,Captain Shim, Mr Baptiste and victim advocates: your hard work to prep for my arrival has been recognized and appreciated.  As I sit in my plane seat about to  return to Las Vegas (see photo with me in headphones) I sit with a full heart of pride for our Airmen and civilians at Robins who serve this nation with honor. PS… forgive me for watching that couple on the beach for the entire 45-minute experience . Till we meet again,

Love Bernie
