Naval Air Station Jacksonville- Birthplace of the Blue Angels!

Today I was in Jacksonville, Florida. First stop: the birthplace of the Blue Angels…Naval Air Station Jacksonville! It was so great to be back !! Thank you to Marie Parker and US Fleet Forces for inviting me here to deliver my Comedy With A Four Star Message to your sailors and civilians! Thank you to all of you who came out to see the program! NAS Jacksonville is one of the Navy’s finest and fastest growing installations and is the recipient of the 2012 Presidential Excellence Award and 2013 Commander, Navy Installations Command Excellence Award. They are the largest Navy base in the Southeast Region and third in the nation. As a master air and industrial base, NAS Jacksonville supports U.S. and allied forces specializing in anti-submarine warfare and training of the best aviators in the world.

Andersen AFB- The most important US Air Base west of Hawaii

What a great time I’ve had in Guam this week! Chief Lactaoen, you have been the best! My final stop here in Guam is Andersen AFB. The most important U.S. air base west of Hawaii, Andersen is the only one in the Western Pacific that can permanently base U.S. heavy strategic bombers (one of the four Air Force Bomber Forward Operating Locations). It is one of two critical US bases in the Asia Pacific Region, along with Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. The host unit at Andersen AFB is the 36th Wing (36 WG), assigned to the Pacific Air Forces Eleventh Air Force. A non-flying wing, the 36 WG’s mission is to provide support to deployed air and space forces of USAF and foreign air forces to Andersen, and to support tenant units assigned to the base. I will be at the AAFB Theater on Thursday June 7 at 0800 and 1500. Come say hi and have some laughs!

On Wednesday I head over to US Naval Hospital Guam. Their mission is to keep the Guam military family ready, healthy and on the job. Thanks again to NADAP, Chief Lactaoen and Lt “Obi” for supporting my Comedy With A Four Star Message program here. I will be at the NHG Building 61 on Wednesday June 6 at 1100 hrs. Can’t wait!

I am in the beautiful island of Guam, U.S. island territory in Micronesia, in the Western Pacific. Thank you to all the sailors, deep water divers and civilians who came out to todays programs at the theater! I hope I provided you with some laughs and some fresh take-a-ways on risk reduction. Thank you to Chief Lactaoen (see photo of him and me!) and NADAP for hosting me while I am here! (SEE PHOTOS FROM TODAY BELOW). The mission of Naval Base Guam is to support the US Pacific Fleet and other operating forces based at, serviced by or supplied through Guam; to support the fighters based here or attached to our tenant commands; and to support the families of Sailors stationed on Guam.
