Awesome job, Bernie! Although we have some common experiences that are BAAAAAD, we share the strength to put self-defeating behaviors behind us and share our perspectives to help others avoid the risks that were once a normal part of life for us. Funny, inspiring, and hard-hitting. Thank you for knowing you audience so well and sending a passionate message!

First of all thanks for walking your talk! I appreciate how you took traumatic events in your life and flipped them around to improve your life and send out a real and positive message. You killed it this morning. I gotta say that camo netting was a “stroke of genius” in the act!!! LOL….. Does it make me wrong to wish you would have fallen??? LOL…Not sure why that’s funny, but it was actually a natural illustration of how your comedy is the cure. A big thanks for turning a commanders call into something enjoyable (for once)!!!

  30. Michelle

I’ll be honest….when most of us hear the words “Commanders Call”, we cringe slightly…you never know how it’s going to be. I’m so glad that this turned out to be the the most hilarious Commanders Call I’ve ever attended! I wish all “mandatory” formations were like this one…..thanks for taking the time to come speak with us and especially the laughs!! I know you touched some lives today. Thank you!

    Bernie,
Both my husband and I attended the morning CC Call and were inspired and touched by your message. You are truly a gifted comedian that killed the show. You’re ability to take some of life’s darkest moments and hard lessons learned and share them using humor and conviction was awesome. You definitely won the hearts and laughs of everyone in the audience. Thanks for what you do. Take care and all the best to you and your family and may this coming year bring you blessings of love and less camo netting stages. Have a safe trip back to LA.
