Today was two of the most enjoyable presentations I’ve ever had in my 12-year military tour. Thank you to every Airman civilian and Joint Task Force member who attended. Thank you to the 96 Test Wing, CMsgt Auger, Sgt Kukuk and colleagues for leading the charge to bring me here! See pics from today’s programs below. The 96th TW executes developmental test and evaluation enabling the warfighter to put weapons on target in all battlespace media while also providing support for all other Team Eglin missions as the installation host wing.

Nowadays, I don’t think there is anyone who hasn’t been touched by alcohol, drugs and Suicide, either directly or indirectly. That was the case in our squadron.
I am going to Vegas in a few weeks (my brother-in-laws 50th). I for one would love to see your performance again.

Great show.. your story was somewhat my story. Wish we could have talked. My oldest son, 26 y.o, was in the Army and came out with PTSD and committed suicide last year.my youngest son, 23 is autistic and has gotten in so much legal trouble being around wrong people and my mother, 72, just got her 3rd dwi 2weeks ago and is currently incarcerated. . And have to come to Eglin and deal with other people’s craziness. .talk about resiliency. . I could be poster child

Congratulations on your sobriety!! I enjoyed hearing your stories about Shane; my mom has worked with the mentally and physically disabled for over 20 years. My kids have grown up not seeing a Disability but seeing a person that just needs a little extra attention and care. Shane and you are truly blessed to share such an amazing bond!

Well executed show, delivery was on par with military customs and understanding of our culture. This comedy show was actually a first for me. Right from the start I knew he was from up north, me being from New Jersey (Joisey) I knew he was from somewhere close. He had a great message and his story was truly inspirational. Hearing him go from living a reckless lifestyle to a fulfilling lifestyle was amazing. His jokes were hilarious and I really hope to hear more from him if he ever plays anywhere near again. It was great to see pictures of his family at the end of the show to add that “homey” touch. Great job!! My family in the Bronx would be proud! 🙂
