Congrats to “I Killed” raffle book winners: James Clark and Den Helgeson!!!!
I am happy to say that I’ve arrived South Korea safe and sound. After a four hour ride from Seoul International airport (thank you for getting me here safely SFC Galvez and SFC Saechoi!!!!) , I’ve made it to USAG Daegu. I’m positioned just outside Camp Henry (the largest base of USAG Daegu) where I will deliver my first training on Wednesday (23 May) at 1000 hrs. I would like to give a HUGE Thank you to Althenia Sims for working so tirelessly to bring this program all the way over here and for teaming up with Toshanika Kennington, Vanessa Mitchell, Debra Robinson and MAJ Brooks. I know it was a lot of work and you are amazing for championing the cause to get so many departments on board!! USAG Daegu, responsible for supporting the military operations in South Korea, is by far the most important military facility owner and operated by the United States of America in South Korea. It is not just among the largest such facilities, but it is also responsible with the good functionality of four complementary bases – Carroll, Walker, George and Henry.
Above: Korea emblem and USAG Daegu logo. a Pic of Daegu from my hotel room and photos from this morning’s training and me with my traveling companions and drivers SFC Galves and SFC Saechao (you guys ROCK!!).

Hey bernie, enjoyed thebshow at Camp Henry. Thank you for the show and your story.
Great show Bernie! We had lots of laughs, and thank you for your story too.
Thank you for coming to Daegu, and for the message and sharing your story of your life and family. Thank you, and have a safe trip back!
Thank you very much for being the “good humor” man here at Camp Henry for us this morning, Bernie…you certainly have a way with words, and the distinctive method you use to keep everyone’s interest is quite unique; not only are you very intelligent, I believe, but you have a genuine care and concern for people, too – like so many of us, you’ve not only “faced your demons” but have also gained the courage and conviction to share with those who may be experiencing similar issues in their own lives. I like that. Glad to have you join us today, and hope you have a great tour and a favorable lasting impression of Daegu, South Korea.
Great Show Bernie – I was telling those that missed it they really missed out on one of the best shows I ever witnessed here at Camp Henry. Thank you for sharing your story and God Bless!
Most enjoyable “Mandatory” training I have attended during the past 48 years of serving in/on military installations. Kudos to USAG-Daegu ASAP and SHARP for their approach to making training enjoyable, and therefore memorable. Special thanks to Bernie McGrenahan and the Comedy (is the) Cure team for an outstanding job conveying the core message in a humorous and engaging way. Made the Jell-O stick to the wall!
Bernie,
You killed at Camp Henry this morning! Thanks for coming so far to share your humor and talent for storytelling.
