Next stop….the beautiful state of Oregon. This is my first trip to Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon.. to visit the fine men and women in uniform of the 173d FW. Thank you to Cecily Gaudinski and colleagues for leading the charge to bring the program here. I will be delivering my first of 2 programs on Saturday 9 Sept at 1400 hrs. Come say hi, have a laugh and leave ready and resilient!
The Mission Statement of the 173d FW is to Train F-15 pilots, support combat operations, and serve Oregon…..America’s air superiority starts here!
Awesome show. Way to incorporate humor with resiliency and real life.
I was here and it was absolutely awesome. My mom is an acholic and it has been a long process for her to get sober and it has taken a toll on all of us. She is now 7 months sober and giving my 10 year old brothers the life I had as a kid. Your show gave me some hope that with time and resilency she can stay sober for all of us but most importantly herself. Thank you again for an awesome show.
Great show! Very funny and heartfelt! Thank you very much for visiting us here at Kingsley Field!!
Great show, great message! Thank you for visiting and making us laugh!
Great show! Thank you for the visit, the laughs and message!
A heart felt thank you for the time you’ve spent with us. “You killed it.” I wasn’t expecting to laught at a mandatory fun event. At 5 foot 6, you really raised the bar.
Awesome show which struck a chord for sure. Thanks for coming and everything you do for the Armed Forces.
Great show thanks for visiting our Kingsley family your message through the comedy hits home.
Thank for bringing some humor to some pretty serious life events. I have had friends and family suffer from one or more of the the topics discussed today. Although very serious topics it was nice to stop and laugh today.
The connection that you made with the audience was so real, starting with “mandatory fun” relation to sharing your own hardships. Stories such as this help others feel human, accepted, and not alone – I appreciate you taking the time (away from family; your wife and brother..) to come this way and share some laughs but also encouragement.
It’s hard losing someone close to you, but I love that you have pushed through and found your own purpose. 🙏
Great show, message. Opening with a lot of humor and delivering an even better message by the end!
Great show! Would sit through again.
Great message and excellent delivery. Thank you.
I went in with doubts but emerged with newfound strength. This resiliency training gets a solid 10 out of 10 from me.”
“From tears of hesitation to tears of empowerment – this training is a resounding 10/10 in my book.
Awesome show! I had no idea what to expect but it was better! Thank you for being vulnerable and touching my heart with your story. All of it wrapped up with a big bow of laughter.
The comedy approach of delivering such a serious and important message of resiliency was a hit. The crowd was laughing, engaged, and heard the message. Thank you for visiting
Thank you for all the laughs and sharing your story! Very heartfelt and inspiring! Congratulations on 30 years of sobriety!! Hope your program will be back to Kingsley in the future!
Was doubtful at first but he was truly a hilarious dude with a great message!
A great show with an even better message. I have never seen so many people engaged in a mandatory training. Thanks for the laughs and sharing your story!
Bernie, Great delivery and an even better message. I don’t remember the last time I saw a standing ovation in that theater. (It definitely does not happen at other trainings held there.) Thank you for visiting the land of no slack and being part of our resiliency teams efforts.
Well rounded show that added levity to a serious conversation that has to be had. I laughed and became emotionally invested in the stories. Well done. Was happy to report a positive experience to those attending the second show!
Great show with many laughs. On the serious side, very inspiring and you have a way of relating and touching on many of our Airmans life experiences. I know you did for me. My mother always told me “it’s a great life, you just have to keep a sense of humor” and she was right. Laughter keeps us going and helps us through our tough times. I’m very grateful I was able to attend your show today. Thank you and Bravo!
“Real estate is the key when it comes to Speedos and always get the size 15’s!” Seriously too funny… I appreciated your vulnerability and honesty when conveying your message today. It hit harder than any other talk I’ve received regarding the tolls of alcoholism and what it takes to change. Thank you Bernie!
Thank you for helping make a serious lifestyle issue that will have lIfe changing consequences real for our Airmen who maybe struggling in silence with the stigma that so often prevents help seeking behavior. Thank you for your bold and deeply personal message this drill weekend. The strong seek help needs to become more mainstream, thank you for having the courage to speak into the life’s of others in such an impactful and humorous way.
Great show with a strong message!
What a compelling message with an engaging way of sharing it! Thanks for your service to our country and may God bless your efforts!
Thank you for sharing you story! Such a tough subject to talk about and listen to but you did an amazing job engaging through comedy and delivering such powerful messages!! Thank you again!
Thank you. Had many of us on the edge of our seats. Brought reality up close and personal. You are a true hero making a huge difference in the lives of others.
Very enjoyable and many laughs. Thank you for sharing such personal things and I also very much appreciated you having pictures of who you spoke about. Thank you!
