Congrats to “I Killed” raffle book winners: Shandelle Laurine, Justin Bower and Joseph Powell!!
This week I head back to the East Coast to visit my friends in South Carolina…JOINT BASE CHARLESTON! It’s always a treat to visit there and I always feel like a member of the family of the 628 ABW. The motto of the 628th Mission Support Group is “Service, Teamwork, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Sacrifice – All STARS!” Couldn’t have said it better myself. Dan Burley: thank you for utilizing my program so much over the years, it has been a sincere honor to work with you…you’re the BEST! SSgt Perry, thank you also and I look forward to more collaborations in the future! I will be at the Base Theater on Friday March 22 at 0800 and 1430. Come by and have a few laughs and take home an important message to start your weekend.

I was here Bernie! Great show! So much better than a PowerPoint!!
Bernie McGrenahan….Best Safety Briefing/Comedy Show I have ever attended in my entire USAF career ?. Amazing story and way to overcome the odds!
2nd time and still funny!
Good laughs and a powerful story with a tight delivery…thanks Bernie
Your one of the few comedians that are actually funny! Thank you for coming to JB Charleston and sharing your story Bernie 🙂
Awesome presenter!!! Hands down best mandatory briefing I’ve ever been to .. Was hilarious with some real world examples of safety and resiliency… The story of his family was very touching as well, since I have a younger sister with intellectual needs, I really could relate and understand his relationship with his brother… You got one more fan Bernie and I hooe to see you again at Joint Base Charleston!!
Thanks for the laughs and the message. Amazing story and congrats on 30 years.
Thanks for coming and sharing your story. You had me crying at one point!
Best mandatory safety briefing! Jokes actually made me laugh and the story behind it all was very touching! Thanks for coming out!
Thank you for coming out. Great message with lots of laughs. Wish all my briefings could be as entertaining and informational. Hope to see you again.
Bernie, always great to see you, brother. I really enjoyed spending a few minutes with you before the morning show here at “Chucktown Airplane Patch and Navy Yard”. We have the best warriors in the biz here and I pray your message resonates with each and every one of them!
You never disappoint to hit the target!
Look forward to seeing you again.
Joe

Bernie, thank you so much for an awesome show/message. You shared a very personal story with us as well as your journey from negative to positive. You are an inspiration to all of us. You had me cracking up and a great way to start my day/weekend.
You’re a funny dude with a great message … Poughkeepsie isn’t upstate and my family is broke, but that was still a really funny joke.
Thanks for making our Friday semi enjoyable at JBC 🙂
Sorry to be the bearer of the websites bad news i hope you can get it fixed….awesome show by the way!!!
Much respect to you. Very good show made a big impact on us.
Thank you Col Dobbels for letting Uncle Bernie bless us with good laughter and for sharing his great message. Laughter is needed in all of our lives. It was a honor to listen to him and I’m grateful that he shared his life story with us. Sometimes in life we tend to forget the little details in life and lose sight on what’s really important. Thanks Uncle Bernie!
Thanks for coming. The show was funny with a great message. This month will be the 4 year anniversary of my fathers suicide and your message really resonated with me and opened my eyes to the fact that I need to stop being a victim and free myself of the guilt surrounding his death. Great way to start the weekend. Thanks again Bernie!
Thank you for the great show! It was definitely the most entertaining and informative safety briefing I’ve experienced.
Who knew safety briefings could be fun AND impactful. Thank you for sharing your resiliency struggles and such personal heartbreaking memories. Your ability to use those while keeping us entertained was truly talented and inspiring.
10/10 Better than Powerpoint
Sharing personal details is hard and not easy. Thanks for the jokes and the lesson.
Bernie, really appreciated your message, and can’t thank you enough for sharing your insights and interactions with your brother Shawn. Great way to start the day!
You killed. Thanks for coming out to Charleston Bernie! Safe travels home to your family.
Great show best all call I’ve ever been too. Loved how the jokes were so funny but so true.
Best safety brief of my career.
Thank you for coming out to JB Charleston. Very inspirational story and how you overcame defeat. Best mandatory training ever.
I have to be honest, I wasn’t to keen on having to go to another mandatory brief. I was however, VERY presently surprised at how great it was. We get a lot of caned answers/briefs from people who tend to have the same attitude of not wanting to be there. In my nearly 14 years, I would have to say your message has had the most impact. All your points are highly relavent and a growing concern with service members. Thank you for coming out and sharing your story with us!
I learned a lot and laughed a lot. It was a good friday morning. Thank you for sharing your story.
Finally a safety briefing i didn’t hate! His story was very genuine and inspiring, and personally having very similar life experiences, this really touched my heart. I truly appreciate him coming out to speak to us, he was very great!
