Bernie, you made me laugh and you made me cry, but what you did that touched me the most was how you drew me in to your personal world and shared your heartrending story of hope. I pray our Soldiers “heard” this wonderful message of hope and change. God bless you!!!!!!
Bernie, you made us all laugh and made some of us even cry. You have a powerful personal message of the handicap of addiction; that you have found a way to share with others through comedy in hopes to make an impact. Keep up the tremondous work you do..it can and does make a difference in many lives. I pray our Soldiers and Civilians “heard” and realize your message of “hope”.
Bernie,
Thank you for your message and support to the Soldiers and Civilians here at Fort Knox.
Great show; if you preach to people they will tune you out, your approach is exceptional. The style you have is entertaining with laughter and some sadness. Everyone there should have gained something positive. Keep up the good work!
Bernie, It was a privilege to watch you this morning. I laughed, I cried and I thoroughly enjoyed your show this morning. I could relate to so much of what you shared. Your stories gave me insight on dealing with similiar situations in my life. Continue what you are doing. Im sure it is touching so many poeple out there. Thank you!
You killed today!! Excellant message and show! Thanks for all you do.
Bernie, Thanks for making military bases one of your primary platforms–that’s so meaningful to me. I so enjoyed your so this morning! It didn’t seem like training at all! Like everyone else, I laughed and cried, and I was touched by how human and open you were, how willing you were to share your story to reach even one person who struggles with addiction.
Great show Bernie. Thanks for what you do and congratulations on sticking to it for over 20 years.

Thank you. You made me laugh out loud and cry; some stories are just a touch away. Do not stop the show!!!
Bernie Loved the show. Your message was very touching and real. Keep up the good works. Thanks!
Bernie,
when I tell people that I am an only child they say, oh you are so lucky, I bet you got everything you wanted. Not true and not true. The thing I wanted the most growing up, was a sibling. I can only imagine what it feels like losing a sister or brother. I Love how you are about your “Gentle Giant” brother. Thank you for sharing your story.
Great way to spend 2 hours of my work day. Enjoyed every minute of the show.
Bernie, a heartfelt THANK YOU for the message your convey. Your comedic approach to a serious issue is refreshing.
Great Show, Powerful message. Enjoyed the show, made me laugh. Thanks for sharing.
AWESOME show, the best military training event i’ve been to in 23 years of service!
Great show Bernie aka the Bronx Tim Curry look alike. Enjoyed it thank you for coming!
Thank you so much for sharing your story! Such a great presentation! I’m truly appreciative abd even had tears in my eyes.
God Bless,
SPC Hayford, Tessa
Great show Bernie! Awesome message, thanks for coming.
I truly enjoyed the show today! You captured my attention immediately with your humor. You are hilarious and did an outstanding job using comedy to send us a powerful message about the downside of alcohol abuse.
Thank you for the best ASAP class/comedy show. It really hits home. Thank you for sharing your personal story.
Bernie, you’ve got one POWERFUL testimony! Thank you for sharing a more personal, vulnerable side of your life with us. You certainly impacted many lives today with your presentation, and I want to thank you for your time and efforts at Fort Knox today. By far the most impressionably ascetic, yet enjoyable Army training I have received during my time in service. God bless you.
I love comedy! I saw a free show and was affected differently than any other comedy show I’ve ever seen before. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to hear you and leave with a lesson.
Great Show, Enjoyed it
Thanks so much for coming out. The show was fantastic and I really enjoyed hearing about your experiences. Thanks again!
Great show today
Really appreciate you coming out and giving us a strong inspiring story today.
Attended your program at Fort Knox on 15 May 2014 and truly enjoyed it. Have to admit, your personal story was emotionally moving. As a man in his mid-50s, I didn’t know if it was the impact of the story on my soul opening the flood gate of tears or just being in my 50s…battling the rise in estrogen levels. Awesome show!!!
Good job Good message. Keep up the good work. Thank you for your support.
Better then power point maybe the army is learning that reality and true heart felt concern will turn the tied touch and I am sure your helping soldiers and saving life’s with your message with a few laugh along the way
Very entertaining and inspiring. Best Army training I’ve received in 23+ years of service as a Soldier and Army Civilian!
Your show was phenominal. You are an inspiration. Tell your baby brother Fort Knox says Hello!
Bernie, Great show! The bit about ugly people sewing their parents like fat people sewing McDonalds was great! Keep up the great work spreading the message about substance abuse while still making people laugh. People don’t remember “boring training”, but they will remember training thats entertaining! God Bless!!!
Thank you for taking the time to come to speak with us. I took away a greater appreciation of life itself. Thank you for sharing so many personal experiences and it is apparent that those experiences really changed you for the better. Often times people cannot get past the pain and see the good amidst the trails that provide opportunities to become better. Again, thank you for seizing those opportunities.
Bernie,
Great method of getting across to people who are mostly tired of the typical, boring PowerPoint presentations. The best way to learn is while having fun, and you’re giving people a means of doing both. Thanks for the show, the message, and thanks for your support!
Bernie thank you for your story. as i looked around it seemed as though it might have reached some people that have been denying their problem. this was definitely a welcome change from the normal death by power point. tell your brother Sean that he can come be my soldier any time!
Thanks Bernie this was my second time see you the first was in ft Lee a couple years great both times
What a great ASAP class!!! I was expecting some so, so comedy, but was I in for a surprise. You really know how to get people to take a deep look into themselves and perhaps see something within that we never even realized was there. So emotional yet so funny-who would have thought the two could be combined.
Thanks for your time!
Thanks for the laughs… I appreciate what you do for is soldiers. I enjoyed you at fort Knox this morning!
Just wanted to say great show and I was still board. You are funny. I wish I was funny as you. Wish I could meet Sean… And thanks for the heart felt message.
Yeah I know I miss spelled bored. Ok… April fools………,again
Bernie:
I enjoyed the show and the message, Bernie today (15 May). This morning’s presentation (even though there were no powerpoints, was time well-spent. My daughter took her life with a handgun 4 years ago. Your message about Scott hits home – and it should. The “bullet” travels far and affects many. Keep at it – I believe you are making a difference in people’s lives.

Enjoyed your show. Thanks for sharing your story. You had me laughing, but you also made me cry. Thanks for taking a negative in your life and making it into a positive.
Thought the show was great. Much better than death by power point. Drugs and Alcohol touch everyone is some way, many people just don’t want to face the truth. Thanks
I very much enjoyed the show you gave to us here at Fort Knox. It made me laughs and smile many many times (and a tear or two)! I also take dear the wonderful message you gave. Thank you so much for coming here and sharing not only your story but your heart. It is very much appreciated!
Bernie Loved the show you are also a hero it takes alot to tell your story infront of people you dont know
I don’t have fun a Bernie Mac Show, but when I do it’s mandatory!
Awesome show…but more importantly, a great message. Your story was powerful, relevant, and extremely helpful to all, not just Soldiers. A must see and thank you.
Great show – thank you for sharing your story of healing! God bless! I have been sober for 14 years now too!!
Great show. Thanks for coming out to show your support and share your message!
Nice show on Fort Knox!
Great Message today. You not only made me laugh you made me take notice. Thank you for what you do.
Great message. Stop by again some time!
Bernie,
This is my 2nd time hearing your story through comedy, first time was at Ft Leonard Wood, MO and this time at Ft Knox, KY and it’s still a great and powerful message. I greatly appreciate you for having the courage to share your story with the men and women of the armed forces, especially at this day and time when we have so many of our Soldiers committing suicide or as you say medicating with alcohol. Thank you again for what you do.
Respectfully
Gerald L Williams, Sr.
Enjoyed your show you killed today. Let’s hope your message saves a number of people that are walking on the tracks. oh I was the one asleep in the 10th row. god bless
Good job! I think your style is far more likely to reach Soldiers and hopefully flip the switch for those who having similar problems. Hope I didn’t distract you or audience with the camera.

Bernie- thanks for all that you do!
You definatly reached out and touched many of us. You gave us hope and inspiration to believe that we can one day make it to the other side!
Thank you for sharing your message with me and my soldiers! 🙂
This is by far the best training ever. It was funny and “most important” very effective! I’m so sorry about your family lost but we appreciate you sharing with us! You are a great example of resilency… Which is what the army is trying to teach to all!
Take care Mr Bernie …. Buddy!
Come back to teach Us!

EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE!! How refreshing it was to receive training in a new platform. You are very skilled at combining humor with real-time messages. I’m so sorry for your loss. And yet thankful I am able to glean from your past experiences.
Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to speak at Fort Knox.
Best training I’ve been to in 17 years! Make sure to tell your brother Sean that he is more popular than he can ever imagine! Bless you and thanks for sharing your story.
