This is my second visit to Ft. Riley and I am so excited to be back! Fort Riley is named in honor of Major General Bennett C. Riley who led the first military escort along the Santa Fe Trail. The fort was established in 1853 as a military post to protect the movement of people and trade over the Oregon, California and Santa Fe trails. In the years after the Civil War, Fort Riley served as a major United States Cavalry post and school for cavalry tactics and practice. I am ever grateful for my freedom, which is due to your sacrifice and service every day. Please come say hello and have some laughs on Wednesday, December 11, 2104 at the Barlow Theater at 1000 and 1330 hrs !
Let’s thank these great soldiers and many civilians who attended the training today: Here are some pics including Brandon and Chris!

I enjoyed your show today. I hope your listeners were moved by your words. I find that only the hotest fire makes the finest steel and that was evident today as you spoke to the soldiers. Because all that you have been through, you seem to take on a glow on stage. May God bless you, your brother, mother, wife and family. P.S. As I was getting ready to retire, I was licensed as a minister. I will keep you and your family in prayer. May God bless you and keep you in all that you do. ME
