Usually this kind of thing is done with a powerpoint, and someone who got told at the last minute that they had to give a brief on it. It’s miserable and drives everyone nuts! Thanks for sharing your story and all that you do

Bernie, your presentation was awesome! Being a firefighter/paramedic and responding to suicides or having to cut people out of cars who were hit by drunk drivers or who were the drunk driver themselves is a sad and tragic issue. People don’t understand that selfish decisions dont only hurt themselves but all the innocent families that have to deal and cope with a loved one being deceased. I pray for you Bernie and your strength to stay sober. We all make bad decisions in our life and have to deal with them when that time comes. Bernie, the message you are putting out with your comedy presentation is awesome and I am sure your brother is smiling down from heaven very proud of you.

I enjoyed the performance you gave today – obviously you know your crowd based on your threat to have powerpoint. I’ll be totally honest – came in thinking “ah man, another suicide prevention brief? I get it already!” – but despite your hardships with your family, you still were able to put a comedic twist and make it training that was actually worthwhile. Thanks for everything and good luck on making it to 3 decades sober!
