Bernie,
Thank you for sharing your message and testimony here at Adelphi Laboratory Center.
I enjoyed your show today and you are truly an inspiration to others.
Great show. Thanks for coming out to deliver the message. I lost my brother in a similar situation, so I understand. Keep up the good work.
Hey Bernie,
Your training session was the best yet at ALC. Thanks bunches for sharing your talent and story.
Kindly, Kelly
Bernie, great show today. Thanks for bringing it to Adelphi.
Bernie,
It was great to see your show today here at the Adelphi Laboratory Center, MD. It was great hearing about your life growing up and I am sorry for your loss. I being a prior Military Veteran of 22 years I think it great what you are trying to do for the Military. You send a wonder message out. With the wars going on for the past 12 years a lot of soldiers out there need your help. With all the uncounted suicides for no reason that is cause by depression and no one to turn to but Alcohol and Drugs I think you send a deep sound message to them to all military members. I hope to see you again some time I will try to stay in touch. I think you put on a really show. Keep doing what you are doing.
Thanks
Jim
This is one of the best training sessions we’ve had in a long time. I really enjoyed the show. It even answered one of lifes little mysteries, “why do men have the size and length of their jeans on the outside where everyone can see it?”
ALC
Great show.
@Nancy Brewrink
BTW did you know that pants lie about their size? Especially men’s. If you measure the waste of pants it is actually bigger than the number. This is to make people feel better when they try them on, and pretty much all pants do it.
Great show!
Bernie – Thank you for sharing your life experiences and refreshing our minds and soles on the evils of drugs, alcohol and depression. What a great way to get your message across…..comedy!! You are an inspiration to all. This is the best office training I have ever had. I hope you will be doing a show in the Washington DC area. I would love to bring a group of friends and family to watch your show. So great to see someone turn their life around in such a positive way. It is so heartwarming to see the unconditional love that you have for your brother. Best wishes… Debbie
Hey Bernie, I was in the second row and people tell me I have no humor. Thank God for your testimony. Thank you for helping others with it. I laughed abd then I cried.
May God Bless you in all you do for others.
Thanks Renee
Adelphi lab afternoon program
Good message well delivered.
Funny AND moving/thoughtful. Thanks.
Bernie,
You killed it here in Adelphi! One of the best training sessions I have been to! Many Thanks!
Thank you, Bernie, for coming to Adelphi ALC and sharing your story. So many parts of it touched home. So very sorry for your loss; so very happy for the special relationship you have with Sean. You’re a lucky man. All the best,
enjoyed how the comedy routine (although I did have to leave for a short period of time because I laughed so hard and much and my contact come out). It was done in a very entertaining manner and the very important message was presented.
Bernie, Thanks for the great show and message — looking forward to whenever you are able to return — how about for monthly lunchtime gigs —- have no fear b/c we only stock cherry tomatoes at the salad bar
Bernie: I sincerely enjoyed your “presentation” today at Adelphi! Yes, you “killed” the audience! It was the best mandatory training I have taken ever! You surely accomplished your mission to educate people about addiction. Thank you for supporting our troops the way you do. Karen
Bernie
Thanks for the great program at Adelphi today! Your comedy routine was hilarious, and I enjoyed the program very much. Thanks for bringing your message to us and to all of the soldiers worldwide.
Stuart
Bernie – I never, ever thought I would enjoy “mandatory” training as I did today – thank you, thank you! Your humorous yet heartfelt delivery of a very relevant topic was absolutely beyond reproach. You truly kept your promise to your Mom and to yourself – what a great son, brother and all around human being 🙂
Bernie,
Great show. Most fun training I have had in a long time. Truly a touching story about your life and the hard lessons you’ve learned. Please continue to get your message out to the rest in the soldiers, sailers, airmen, and marines. And do continue to take care of your brother. He sounds like a joy to be around.
I just wanted to send a couple of lines to let you know I really enjoyed your training. Training kept me alert and was very much interesting. It was really a pleasure to meet you and to get an autograph. I really thought you were someone who had come on board to give a hand. Hope to see you in the near future.
This was the most creative, poignant and effective alcohol and drug abuse training I’ve seen in my 25 years in the Federal Government. Mr. McGrenahan’s comedic skills were first rate, and his tragic story of alcoholism, coupled with a family tragedy, helped weave a compelling and heart wrenching story that was exceptionally well done and incredibly meaningful. Who ever made this happen at the DoD/Army level deserves a medal, a promotion, or both!!! Mr. McGrenahan’s touching tale will resonate long in my memory and hopefully with all those who heard his uplifting and inspirational words of his own battle with, and triumph over addiction.
Bernie,
I enjoyed your show here at ARL and will never forget you. Little did I know you were going to tie in to Alcohol Abuse and Awareness month. Not only are you a comic but also a very compassionate young man. If you are born under the astrological sign of Cancer the Crab…Bill Cosby, Robin Williams and a few more great comedians. If not, no problema (:>)
I loss a brother to gun violence but nothing like Scott and he was 33. I know that a day does not go by that you do not think of him and all the different things that remind you of him.
I admire you for winning the war against alcoholism and not dating women who drink. I have seen what alcohol does to relationships and caused me to divorce my husband.
Continue to be a blessing to everyone and GOD bless you!!
