Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC)
AFTAC is based at Patrick AFB and is an Air Force surveillance organization assigned to the Twenty-Fifth Air Force. Its mission is to monitor nuclear treaties of all applicable signatory countries. It is the sole organization in the federal government whose mission is to detect and report technical data from foreign nuclear explosions. Woah!

This week I head back to the East Coast to visit my friends in South Carolina…JOINT BASE CHARLESTON! It’s always a treat to visit there and I always feel like a member of the family of the 628 ABW. The motto of the 628th Mission Support Group is “Service, Teamwork, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Sacrifice – All STARS!” Couldn’t have said it better myself. Dan Burley: thank you for utilizing my program so much over the years, it has been a sincere honor to work with you…you’re the BEST! SSgt Perry, thank you also and I look forward to more collaborations in the future! I will be at the Base Theater on Friday March 22 at 0800 and 1430. Come by and have a few laughs and take home an important message to start your weekend.

Thursday afternoon, I shoot up to Duke field to see the 6th Special Operations Squadron. The 6th Special Operations Squadron (6th SOS) is a combat aviation advisory squadron that is unit equipped with C-145A aircraft. Its primary mission is to assess, train, advise and assist foreign aviation forces in airpower employment, sustainment and force integration. See you at the auditorium at 1230!
