Bernie McGrenahan is a stand-up comedian touring the globe expressing gratitude to our Military’s service members, civilians and dependents for their service to our nation!  This original Comedy ‘With a Message’ training has been delivered to over 300 military bases world-wide.  Bernie’s Stand-up comedy material breaks the ice, followed by his personal life experiences.

Thank you to the hundreds of you who came to the Safety Standdown today at Tyndall AFB.  You guys were the BEST!    Thank you to Charlie Fuller and his Safety colleagues for inviting me here in 2020 right before COVID 19 shut the world down and I didn’t get to make the trip then.  I’m glad that I finally made it back after a long wait.

Thank  you to the 350+ Airmen and civilians who came out to the Kirtland AFB theater to see the show today!  You guys were a blast and I thank you for your service.   Also, A HUGE thank you to Teresa Reinhard, CMSgt Cates, Col Keller, Col Battioni, Dr Murray and colleagues for making this visit happen.  I know you have been trying for years to bring this program to your base and I thank you!! First stop, is the land of enchantment….New Mexico!  I am headed to Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque.  Kirtland AFB is the largest installation in Air Force Global Strike Command and sixth largest in the United States Air Force.   AFGSC is responsible for the nation’s three intercontinental ballistic missile wings, the Air Force’s entire bomber force, to include B-52, B-1 and B-2 wings, the Long Range Strike Bomber program, and operational and maintenance support to organizations within the nuclear enterprise.

Original post: I am en route to the Lone Star State to the “Sun City” of El Paso, Texas.   Fort Bliss, a US Army post in the state of New Mexico and Texas is the second largest military installation of the US Army.  It also has the biggest contiguous tract of unrestricted airspace in United States, which is mainly used for artillery training and missile testing.  90% of Fort Bliss training grounds, as well as several base camps, are located in New Mexico. Fort Bliss is home of over 38,500 active duty military personnel, as over 39,000 of these soldier’s family members, and over 1,000 reservists. It is also the home of over 13,000 civilians.

I’m headed to the “Holy City” of Charleston, South Carolina to visit one of my all-time favorite Air Force bases ….Joint Base Charleston!!     My last visit here was pre-pandemic and I am so excited to be back to deliver my training for the 628th ABW!  The 628th ABW  provides installation support to more than 60 DOD and federal agencies serving more than 90,000 Airmen, Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, Coast Guardsmen, civilians, dependents and retirees. It also provides expeditionary Airmen to combatant commanders in support of joint and combined operations. Thank you to Michelle Meekin (VPI/SPPM) for hosting me and my program.  I will be at the base theater at 0800 on Wednesday Sept 28.  I hope to provide you with some laughs as well as some important tools for resilience and staying fit for duty!!
