NAS Whidbey Island…Pacific Northwest! Sky Warrior Theater – Today!

I’m thrilled to be here in Washington at beautiful Naval Air Station Whidbey Island!  The two crowds today at the Sky Warrior were so positive and responsive.  Thank you for allowing me to share my career and my story with you.  It is an honor any time I have the chance to serve ‘Those who Serve’!  The scenery up here is beautiful, though I did find a way to bring rain from Vegas with me!   NAS Whidbey Island is currently home to 17 active duty squadrons and 2 Ready Reserve squadrons. The air station also maintains a Search and Rescue Unit, flying three Sikorsky MH-60S Nighthawks and continues its long-standing role as a center of activity for Naval Air Reserve operations and training in the region.  Thank you for hosting my Happy Hour program.

Great message and awesome show. I hope I can see more of this type of training in the future. Just one word of advice for Mr. McGrenahan: Don’t date yourself, Nobody uses MapQuest anymore……. 🙂 Thank you for your service.

I stayed engaged the whole time. Comedy is your true calling, and thank you for coming to Whidbey Island to share your stories with us. Just remember, “I don’t care what that tape says!” Thanks for the laughs.

Outstanding training!!! Had a message related to DAPA, Suicide Prevention, and CMEO delivered in a way we will all pay attention to and retain. Bernie, unlike most of the death by powerpoint or online training we all have to endure, I believe your work on this tour will resonate with the audience and actually help people. I immediately returned to my Command and recommended to my Chief that “everyone that could should drop whatever they were doing and get to the 10:00 show”.

Bernie I really liked your show it was way better than a 500 slide PowerPoint of death which would have normally been presented. You are a true inspiration and have a great story to tell. Congrats on 20 years sober.
